Hotel planned as part of entertainment district at former Six Flags site in New Orleans East, includes indoor-outdoor waterpark. Development partners to be announced March 6, 2026. Project transitioning from planning to active construction preparation.
Omni Headquarters Hotel
Planned $500 million modern hotel with 1,000-room capacity and 100,000 square feet of meeting space. Located across from the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Project is part of New Orleans’ bid to host the 2031 Super Bowl.

New cafe opening in Mid-City New Orleans serving specialty coffee beverages, baked goods, pastries, and light breakfast items. Will offer grab-n-go and dine-in options. Located in former Love’s Cafe’ and Lounge space.
Lou and Laura’s
Family-owned restaurant opening second location in Pineville. Ground-up construction underway at site where their food truck is currently stationed. Serves comfort food including burgers, broasted chicken, fried seafood and po’boys.
Remi DeMatteo’s Bar & Grill
New bar & grill concept from experienced Baton Rouge restaurateur Remi DeMatteo, located in the space where Danny’s Dive Bar currently operates. Construction permit filed but no opening date announced yet.

New cocktail and wine lounge owned by Latter Hospitality (owners of Tujague’s) opening inside Hotel Perle in the Warehouse District. Features seasonal small plates menu and cocktail program inspired by fictional couple’s travels through Sicily.

Baton Rouge-based wing spot expanding to Lafayette in former Subway location. Known for wings with variety of sauces and signature VJ Fries. Owner has 7 locations in Baton Rouge and working toward nationwide expansion.
