New 1,700-square-foot Dunkin’ location with Next Generation design, featuring modern layout, front-facing bakery case, signature tap system, and small meeting space. Expected to employ around 25 team members with hours 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

1241 N Rampart Boutique Hotel

Two-story boutique hotel with four guest suites across approximately 9,900 square feet. $1.8 million construction project with potential pool amenities subject to separate approvals.

Unnamed Restaurant by La Petite Grocery Owners

La Petite Grocery owners Justin and Mia Devillier purchased the former Upperline restaurant space and are opening a new restaurant concept. The restaurant is currently in construction phase and doesn’t have a name yet. The Devilliers stated they’re not simply reopening Upperline but starting something new.

Nammii

Vietnamese restaurant co-owned by Tam Nguyen and Bao Chau Huynh serving Hong Kong-style and Vietnamese cuisine including dim sum and Vietnamese noodle soups. 1,700 square-foot space formerly occupied by China Taste. Fourth restaurant for the owners who operate three other Vietnamese restaurants in Baton Rouge.

Gravy

New lunch spot from Pamplona Tapas Bar owners taking over former Pat’s Downtown space. Menu will include meatball stew, sticky chicken, burgers, bowls, wraps and sandwiches. Also planning to add a cocktail lounge.

Chicken’s Kitchen

James Beard-recognized meat-and-three restaurant moving from West Bank to new East Bank location in New Orleans CBD. Original location closing Feb 13, new location opening around May 1.

Feliciana BistrĂ´t

French bistro by BRG Hospitality Group opening in downtown Covington. Kitchen helmed by Patrick Teagle. Part of larger revitalization effort. Rooftop will feature Paradise Cocktail Lounge.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe

New Tropical Smoothie Cafe location coming to former Taco Bell space in Broussard, Louisiana. Renovations currently underway. Locally-owned franchise in the Acadiana area.

Bourbon St. Daiquiris

Cajun bar and restaurant concept being developed by Houston daiquiri shop owner. Will feature full bar and food menu, not just daiquiris. Currently in permitting process.

Ruthie’s Frozen Custard

Frozen custard spot coming to Uptown New Orleans on Freret Street corridor. Will feature walk-up window, counter, banquette seating, back patio area with seating, and ADA ramp. Owner working on creating space with high-quality frozen custard.
