Franchisee Shezad Jiwani is opening a new Jersey Mike’s Subs location at 344-B North Highway 175 in Seagoville, TX. Goal is to open before end of 2026. This is Jiwani’s first Jersey Mike’s location; he holds development rights in parts of Dallas and Ellis counties with plans to expand further. Public filings confirm the project.

Piccolo Buco by Cooper’s Hawk
Cooper’s Hawk is opening the first Ohio location of its Italian concept Piccolo Buco at the Shops On Lane Avenue plaza in Upper Arlington. The menu features antipasti, pizza, pasta, and mains. No opening date has been announced as it is early in development; a firm date is expected in coming months as construction progresses.
The Novel Sip
Bookstore, cafe, and wine bar concept founded by Shayla Cole, who also works at Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams. Will feature coffee from local roasters, baked goods, lattes, wine, and a curated book selection. Described as an all-day neighborhood community space. No address released yet. Set to open spring 2027.
Jinsei Motto Cocktail Bar
Chefs Patrick Bouaphanh and Eric Blanck are planning a lunch and late-night cocktail bar in the downstairs area of their existing Jinsei Motto sushi restaurant. They also hope to convert the space into a Japanese-style cafe in the future. No opening date has been announced. Renovations downstairs are currently underway.

Just Salad signed a lease for a new location at 123 N Wacker Drive (ground floor, intersection of W Randolph) in The Loop. This will be their fifth Loop location. No specific opening date announced but expected to open sometime in 2026. Construction starting soon.
