Florida-based Mediterranean chain expanding to West Village with 3,500 sq ft space featuring 22 tables seating 60 and 13-seat bar. Serves Mediterranean cuisine including hummus, kebabs, falafel, and all-day brunch.

New omakase sushi restaurant from Iki Sekai Inc. has filed paperwork with community board for Upper East Side location. Owner confirmed plans to open the restaurant.

Boston Japanese restaurant known for handmade udon expanding to NYC in Nomad neighborhood. Will offer beef udon hot or cold, spicy or classic, plus beer, wine, and sake with table service.
The Peek Inn
New neighborhood bar from The Meat Hook’s Brent Young and partner Mike Haigis. 450-square-foot, 24-seat space serving beer-and-shot offerings, beertinis, and steamed hot dogs. Located in former Fin Du Monde space.

Board game cafe with 400 games library, food and beverages, 4,400 sq ft space with 25 tables and 100 person capacity. Located on second floor of Samanea New York shopping center. Owner also operates Main St. Board Game Cafe in Huntington.

Tony’s Tacos expanding with new 4,000-square-foot location in Levittown Mews shopping center. Italian-inspired taqueria with menu of 40+ tacos, bowls, salads, quesadillas and frozen margaritas.
