The expanded space will include more seating, a full bar, and outdoor dining. No public timeline has been announced. Business will remain open during the transition.

The Pearl
Chef/restaurateur Ronald Solevo (owner of Solevo Kitchen) has taken over the Scallions space and plans to open a new restaurant called The Pearl this fall. Described as a coastal Connecticut seafood restaurant with a hidden twist. Renovations are planned for the space.
Rancho Viejo
Locally owned Mexican restaurant chain opening its first Rochester location in the Corn Hill neighborhood, taking over the former Exchange sports bar on Exchange Boulevard. Construction/renovation underway including bar and patio refresh. Liquor license pending. Chain has existing locations in Mount Morris, Batavia, and Geneseo. Owner hopes to open by end of June 2026.
Bagel Bagel
Bagel Bagel is opening a second Onondaga County location in the former Baghdad Restaurant space at Westvale Plaza in Geddes, next to Geddes Bank. The shop will offer about 20 varieties of homemade bagels and breakfast bagel sandwiches. Owned by brothers Reuben and Ron Snyder. Opening planned for August 2026.
