Silverbelly Whiskey is taking over the former Show Pony space downtown. This would be the first standalone bar for the Silverbelly brand, which currently offers premium whiskey in bars, restaurants and retail locations. Interior renovations are planned.

Florida-based frozen chocolate-dipped dessert concept expanding to Nashville. Mother-daughter franchise team bringing the brand to 1,000-square-foot space in Hillsboro Village. Menu includes frozen bananas, cheesecakes, key lime pie, ice cream bars with toppings, plus boozy floats.
Jeni’s Ice Creams
Jeni’s Ice Creams will open its first Chattanooga shop in the St. Elmo neighborhood at the foot of the Incline Railway, taking over the former Clumpies Ice Cream Co. location. The Columbus, Ohio-based company plans to throw a grand opening party with free scoops.
In-N-Out Burger
In-N-Out Burger submitted permit request to build new 3,886 square foot location with covered patio seating and drive-thru. Demolition of existing Circle K and BP gas station needed before construction can begin.
Waffle Mania
Quick service restaurant concept focusing on waffles, occupying 1,500 square foot space with 40 person capacity. Certificate of occupancy under review as of February 20, 2026.

New location of Memphis’s top Chinese restaurant with Michelin Guide rated cuisine. Sibling concept of Petals of a Peony, specializing in authentic Sichuan cuisine.
Sips Dirty Soda Shop
Five area entrepreneurs are opening a new Sips Dirty Soda Shop location in Covington, taking over Wooty’s Coffee Roastery storefront. Renovations began February 16 with full repainting, adding walls, and counter relocation. Wooty’s will continue serving coffee alongside dirty sodas once Sips opens.
Uchi
James Beard Award-winning chef Tyson Cole’s sushi bar concept Uchi is opening a 5,750 square foot Nashville location with 170 seats in Pie Town. The restaurant offers tastings and seasonal omakase.
Studio by Jônt
D.C.-based Hive Hospitality is bringing Studio by Jônt to Nashville’s Music Row. The 2,224 square foot space will be converted from a radio-television studio to a full-service restaurant. This will be Hive Hospitality’s first foray into the Nashville market.
