New restaurant concept taking over former Corner Pub space, combining neighborhood pub warmth with modern refinement. Will keep Corner Pub classics and add barbecue offerings.

Au Cheval

Elevated diner-style restaurant from Chicago-based Hogsalt Hospitality opening in Ashford 12 South mixed-use development. 4,435 sq ft indoor space with 575 sq ft outdoor patio. Serves burgers, salads, honey-fried chicken, matzah ball soup, and cocktails. Partnership with Sam Fox of Author & Edit Hospitality.

Whataburger

Whataburger expanding in Middle Tennessee with new Franklin location opening at 11:00 a.m. on March 24. Grand opening celebration planned with ribbon-cutting and promotional giveaways.

McDonald’s

Third McDonald’s location in Collierville, 3,694-square-foot restaurant with drive-thru in Carriage Crossing Marketplace shopping center. Planning commission gave favorable recommendation, still needs final approvals.

Earls Kitchen + Bar

Upscale casual dining restaurant opening its first Tennessee location at Nashville Yards. 260-seat space with modern American menu, global inspiration, cocktail-forward bar program, and twice-daily happy hour. Hiring for over 250 positions.

Dave & Buster’s

Dave & Buster’s confirmed plans to open a new entertainment venue location in Bristol, Tennessee. The location will feature hundreds of arcade games, food, drinks and sports viewing. Specific location within Bristol and opening timeline not yet provided.

The Tradition

6,300 square foot restaurant with seating for 170 customers, part of redevelopment of former Houston’s restaurant site. Led by hospitality veterans who previously launched Briza restaurant.

Fab Family Cafe & Kitchen

Family restaurant and cafe focused on coffee and tea. Certificate of occupancy issued February 18, 2026. Company registered as Tennessee LLC on January 28, 2026.

Park Avenue Social

New lounge/restaurant with certificate of occupancy issued February 11, 2026. Will span 4,889 square feet with occupant load of 148. Precise opening date not publicly available.

Petals of a Peony

Petals of a Peony, a Memphis authentic Chengdu-style Sichuan restaurant, is opening a new location near the University of Memphis. The restaurant has garnered acclaim from the Michelin Guide and currently has 2 locations open plus 2 Little Petals Chinese offshoot locations.
