Strategic Hospitality and Andrew Sohr of Happy Fat Boy Hospitality are taking over the closed Dalts American Grill location. The spot is expected to retain the Dalts legacy but details regarding the reopening remain scarce.
Soy Cubano
Cuban restaurant expanding to second location in the Nations area of Nashville. First expansion for the brand which originally opened at The Wash in spring 2022. Menu features Cuban coffee, empanadas, Cuban sandwiches, and Latin fusion dishes.
Beehive 35
New restaurant with 90-person occupancy, has liquor license approved and recently received sign permit. Restaurant concept details not yet available.
Hattie B’s Hot Chicken
Hattie B’s Hot Chicken will open a new 3,000 square foot ground-up building in Germantown Village Square. This will be their second Memphis area location and first opportunity to design a restaurant from scratch to optimize operations.
Flip Side Pinball Bar
Flip Side Pinball Bar is temporarily closed for renovations and will reopen with an entirely new menu featuring comfort food, 24 new pinball machines, new furniture with more high top tables, and hopes to have the patio open by spring.
Monmu & Monje
West African cuisine pop-up and catering company transitioning to storefront. Known for bowls, fire-grilled suya, and vibrant drinks. 1,400 square feet with retail element. Currently rebranding and building new structure.
Al’s Wings and Things
Al’s Wings and Things is preparing to open its second Memphis location and third overall for owner Albert Thomas. The restaurant specializes in chicken wings and comfort food including oxtail. Certificate of occupancy paperwork filed December 18 shows 1,440 square feet dedicated space.
The Studio Karaoke Restaurant & Bar
Memphis’s first and only private suite karaoke bar with 5 private suites for groups of 2-20, food and beverage service, currently in soft opening mode awaiting beer permit and liquor license approval
7 Brew
Drive-thru coffee concept opening in a 530 square foot building with 250 square foot cooler and 7 parking spaces. Franchisee Tim Heeren is behind this location and has experience with multiple 7 Brew locations.
Buc-ee’s
Texas-based gas station chain opening location off Interstate 40 at mile marker 28 near Gallaway, Tennessee. Opening pushed back from original 2026 timeline to May 2027. Second location also planned for West Memphis, Arkansas in June 2028.
