Gyro Hut

Mediterranean restaurant chain expanding in Greater Houston area. Construction expected to start end of April 2026 and wrap up end of July 2026. Franchise operated by Bilal Syed. Menu features gyros, shawarma, falafel with NY-style gyro meat and house-made sauces.

Paris Baguette

Korean-inspired bakery chain opening in DPEG Commons. Construction expected to start in April and wrap up by mid-October. Franchisee David Kim is behind the opening. Serves fresh cakes, pastries, breads, sandwiches, and beverages.

Buck & Rider

Arizona-based seafood restaurant from Hi Noon Hospitality opening in Central Park Post Oak mixed-use development in Galleria area. Known for weekend brunch, happy hour, raw bar with oysters and fresh catch. Will fly in fresh seafood directly without middleman.

Pepperoni’s Pizza

Houston-area pizza chain opening first San Antonio location in Bulverde Crossing shopping center. Construction started April 2024, originally scheduled to complete by end of 2025 but now slated for early 2026. Serves New York-style pizzas with premium ingredients.

Richie’s Hot Chicken

Nashville-style hot chicken restaurant opening second brick-and-mortar location in Alamo Ranch neighborhood. Known for signature Richie Rich Fries, chicken sandwiches, burritos, and halal-certified Nashville-style hot chicken. Owner previously operated food truck in the area.

Einstein Bros Bagels

Einstein Bros Bagels opening new corporate-run location in Steven’s Point shopping center. Former construction manager confirmed the opening but exact timing within 2026 not specified.

Buffalo Wild Wings GO

Buffalo Wild Wings GO location opening in Mission, TX. Construction slated to start mid-March and wrap up by mid-May 2026. 1,500 square feet location. Franchisee Jimmy Boparai confirmed the opening.

Hacienda Grill

New 4,920 square foot restaurant building with construction expected to start end of March 2026 and wrap up before end of December 2026. Permit filed for new construction with associated site improvements including parking areas.

Sanctuary Cellars

New winery and wine tasting venue with focus on wildlife preservation and sustainable practices. Construction kicked off recently and slated to wrap up in June. 1600 square feet facility estimated to cost half a million dollars.
