New ice cream shop offering regular and alcohol-infused ice cream, milkshakes, and shaved ice for kids. Construction started late last year and expected to wrap up by mid-June 2026. Working with partner Partg Shah.

New Orleans-style seafood restaurant offering juicy combos, boiled seafood, fried baskets, and appetizers. Part of a chain with 40+ locations, at least 5 in Greater Houston area. Lease term starts March 2026.
Bagel Co. Express
Bagel Co. Express is a spin-off concept from Galveston Bagel Company, offering a smaller fast-service bagel menu. Construction expected to start in February and wrap up by end of April 2026.
Aki Sushi
Aki Sushi is opening a new location in College Station. Construction is already underway and slated to wrap up in March. The owner confirmed the upcoming opening for Spring 2026. This will be the sixth Aki Sushi restaurant in the Greater Houston region, focusing on sushi offerings.

Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen opening at Texas Heritage Marketplace in Katy. Construction set to start mid-April and wrap up before end of year. American comfort food restaurant owned by Darden Restaurants.

16 Handles frozen yogurt shop opening in Katy/Fulshear area. Self-serve froyo concept with customizable flavors and toppings, also serves smoothies and milkshakes. Located next to Maple Street Biscuit Company.
Aga’s
Indian-Pakistani take-out restaurant opening at Grand Crossing Retail Center. Construction set to start end of January and wrap up end of March 2026. 4,227 square feet location specializing in 100% Zabiha Halal cuisine.
Popeyes
New Popeyes location coming to Porter, TX. Construction slated to start in May 2026 and wrap up by beginning of 2027. Permit recently filed for the new quick-service eatery.
Sunny’s
Second location of all-day brunch and bar Sunny’s opening at The Rim. Will feature elevated brunch experience with refined culinary and beverage program compared to original Boerne location. Taking over former Mash’d spot.
