Singhs Vietnamese is opening their second location in a former ramen spot near UT-San Antonio campus. The homegrown mini-chain offers homestyle Vietnamese cooking with a Texas twist and started as a food truck before opening their first brick-and-mortar location.
The Toasted Yolk
Brunch brand opening in the new Shops at Brick and Mortar District. Construction slated to start end of January 2026 and wrap up by end of April 2026. Franchisees are John and Miriam Diaz who run a Great Clips location in Houston.
Popeyes
New Popeyes location opening at San Antonio International Airport Terminal B. Construction slated to start February 2026 and wrap up by mid-June 2026, with opening expected by Summer 2026. Part of SAT’s $1.2 billion expansion.
Estella
Primary dining room at Canyon Ranch Austin wellness resort, led by Michelin-starred chef Val M. Cantú. Features seasonal Mexican cuisine, limited to resort guests and property homeowners only. Part of 600-acre wellness resort opening September 2026.
Mexican Sugar
Nearly 11,000-square-foot Latin restaurant opening at The Domain featuring fresh scratch-made dishes, handcrafted cocktails, and over 150 tequilas and mezcals. Hacienda-style design with authentic Mexican clay tile and custom chandelier.
Crepeccino Cafe & Creperie
Third location of European-style café and creperie opening on Southwest side of San Antonio, serving sweet and savory crepes, espresso, and other café items
Einstein Bros. Bagels
New Einstein Bros. Bagels location coming to Spring-Klein area. Construction set to begin March 1 and wrap up by end of July. Serves bagels, cream cheese spreads, breakfast sandwiches and coffee drinks.
Exilio Latin Flair
Bari Hospitality will open Exilio Latin Flair in Montrose’s Harlow District development, replacing Verde Garden. The restaurant will focus on Latin cuisine from North, Central and South America as well as Spain, serving lunch, dinner, cocktails and weekend brunch daily.
Pinkerton’s Barbecue
Second location of Pinkerton’s Barbecue opening in former 59 Diner space. Features neon signage, expanded menu with whole hog cooking, bread program, dessert program, and sausage program. Owner plans no soft opening, will ‘unlock the door and let it rip.’
iWok
Fast-casual Asian fusion restaurant using robotic cooking systems and automated woks. Plans to expand to Asiatown, Katy and near Johnson Space Center by end of March 2026.
