Layne’s Chicken Fingers
New $1.1 million, 2,430 square foot Layne’s Chicken Fingers location. Construction to start mid-July and wrap up before end of November. Franchisee Dylan White will operate the location.

Leander-based restaurant expanding to Round Rock. Menu blends classic Mexican staples with bold Tex-Mex flair with Southern style, offering tacos, fajitas, enchiladas, quesadillas and more.
Texas Roadhouse
New 8,100 sq ft Texas Roadhouse location opening in Cypress (Houston area) with futuristic features including digital tablet kiosks and digital kitchen technology. Currently hiring 250 staff members.
Taco Bell
New Taco Bell location owned and operated by Pak Foods LLC, a Houston-based franchise group. Located across from Dennis the Menace Park. Ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening celebration planned for May.
Buc-ee’s
74,000 square-foot Buc-ee’s travel center in San Marcos, Texas (32 miles south of Austin) with anticipated grand opening by July 2026. Will feature at least 128 gas pumps and provide 175 new jobs. Construction started January 2025 and is nearly finished.
