Public restaurant to be located within the new Kraken Iceplex and Community Center, part of a two-rink facility with community amenities

Puget Sound Pizza

Puget Sound Pizza expanding to Key Peninsula location, taking over former Figaro’s Pizza space. Will be takeout-only due to small size with no dining area. Owner purchased the location and offered jobs to existing staff.

East West Club

Multipurpose club featuring golf simulators, rooftop lounge, grab-and-go cafe, wellness facilities including gym and sauna. Offers tiered membership model with founding member fee of $25,000.

Panino

Italian sandwich shop opening in South Lake Union neighborhood, specializing in paninis made with imported ingredients. Will serve wine, spritzes and Italian beers. Located next to sister shop Cannolo.

Friends of Carmela

Family-owned neighborhood deli opening at Pike Place Market in former Michou Deli space. Will serve breakfast sandwiches, hot and cold heroes, antipasti and desserts. Co-owned by Keka Westof and Nate Simmons.

Ballard Sports Park

Tech-forward indoor soccer and basketball venue with food and beverage program. Features video technology, cameras on fields, digital billboards, and livestreaming capabilities. Plans for 2-3 soccer fields, basketball court, warm-up area, and comfortable lounge areas.

Starla’s

Acclaimed pizzeria and wine bar relocating from Bellingham to Seattle. Previously served sourdough pizzas and small plates. Co-owners are Jordan Koplowitz (James Beard semifinalist) and Christy Wyble. No signed lease yet but planning legit pizzeria with table service.

Velvet Fox

Wine bar getting ready to open in the coming months in a 1899 Victorian home in North Spokane, next door to The Scoop and Hidden Bagel
