ForeLand Beer plans to open a brewery in Portland’s Lloyd District. The brewery will have restaurant seating for 20 and outdoor seating for 16, with operating hours 3-10 p.m. Monday-Friday and 12-10 p.m. weekends. A liquor license application has been submitted.

Novel Ice Cream is opening a new location in Old Town Peoria at Jefferson House, a multi-use center. Construction has started and the shop is expected to open fall 2026. This location is across from where they previously operated a pop-up.

Sophie’s BBQ is opening its Philadelphia debut location in Manayunk, partnering with Love City Brewing. The restaurant specializes in smoked meats and Southern-style comfort fare including BBQ sliders, brisket, pulled pork, and sides. This will be their second location after Havertown.
