365 Grillin & Seafood

365 Grillin & Seafood is expanding from Spartanburg to open a second location in Union. The space is undergoing renovations and will feature a family atmosphere with plenty of TVs. Opening timeline still to be announced.

Fly Kid Fly

Coffee shop Fly Kid Fly will take a 1,700-square-foot space at The Station development. Helmed by the Durban Group, they already have a location at Bowl at Ballantyne. Menu includes espresso drinks with signature items like Cloudburst and Rare Air.

MOTW Coffee & Pastries

Community-focused specialty coffee franchise expanding to second Massachusetts location. Buildout nearly complete with final inspections and certificate of occupancy pending. Will serve globally inspired menu including Yemeni chai, Egyptian teas, specialty lattes, and pastries in 1,700 sq ft space with table seating and lounge area.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe

1,611-square-foot Tropical Smoothie Cafe location opening on second floor of Park Center Plaza, with seating for 15 diners. Franchisee also runs Dedham location and is planning additional Boston area outposts.

Golden Crust Bakery

Bakery-and-coffee combination concept replacing Sweet Waffles + Boba in Chinatown. Will be a ‘bakery slash waffle slash coffeehouse’ featuring baked goods, waffle-based treats, and coffee beverages. Still in planning and buildout phase.

{S}table Comfort Food {n} Cocktails

Southern comfort restaurant from DASH Hospitality Group founder David Abes, replacing Steak & Grace at The Village Dunwoody. Menu by culinary director Camron Woods features Southern-style dishes, cocktails highlighting Southeastern producers, and rustic design with covered outdoor patio.

50-seat wine-forward restaurant by the husband-and-wife team behind Kinship Butcher & Sundry. Will feature natural wine program and hyper-seasonal à la carte menu focusing on proteins and locally-sourced produce. Located in Virginia-Highland neighborhood.
