New sports bar and grill replacing Angel’s Trumpet in downtown Phoenix. Partnership between Robert Cissell, Ariel Bracamonte, and Chuckie Duff. Will feature simple bar food, pool tables, darts, TVs, and accommodate 150 people.
PoNy’s Michés
Family-run ceviche and micheladas business expanding to Tolleson location near 99th Ave and McDowell, bordering Avondale. Husband-and-wife team opening downtown Phoenix and Tolleson locations simultaneously.
H&H Bagels
Famous New York bagel shop expanding to Palm Desert, part of company’s growth plan. Will offer various bagels, spreads, egg sandwiches, and smoked fish, with bagels baked fresh throughout the day.
Le Boulevard
Parisian-style restaurant with seating for up to 250 guests across main dining room, bar and patio. Part of Himmel Hospitality Group expansion to Seaport.
Wheat Head on the Water
Wheat Head Brewing Co. is opening a new taproom and patio on the Kennewick downtown waterfront at Columbia Gardens. It’s a taproom only, not serving food, but encouraging guests to buy from nearby Swampy’s BBQ and food trucks.

Midway Diner serving breakfasts and lunches, part of United Village development restaurant pavilion. Restaurant advisor is Vincent Francoual, a well-known French chef.
Jack-in-the-Box
Jack-in-the-Box restaurant approved for construction in Perry, GA. Permit approved December 5, 2025. Will be a new storefront build rather than moving into existing space. Construction has not yet begun with no timeline provided.

Second location of Calixto Mexican Grill opening in the new Minock Park Place development. Full-service sit-down Mexican restaurant owned by Enrique Aquino who grew up in Mexico City. First location is in Livonia.

Tampa-based healthy food restaurant chain building out new location in Nocatee’s Marketplace shopping center. Permit issued April 9, 2026 for 1,373-square-foot space with estimated project cost of $374,734.
