Airport Donuts, a Naples craft donut concept, has signed a lease at Midtown at Bonita, a 68-acre mixed-use development in Lee County. Buildouts are expected to begin in coming weeks with first openings expected by year’s end 2026. The development is on Bonita Beach Road just off I-75.

New Italian concept from Restaurant & Hospitality Investment Group (RHIG), led by founder/owner Mark Janasik. The group has 14 restaurants in Northeast Florida and is expanding with The Rosetta Room as an upcoming concept.

Fresh Monkee
Fresh Monkee, a protein shake and smoothie chain with ~50 nationwide locations, is opening its first Arkansas location at 3761 Mall Ave. in Fayetteville, in a shopping center that includes Phat Tire Bike Shop. Menu features ~20 shakes with fruits, veggies, and protein powders. Construction has begun; opening date TBD.
1220 Café
1220 Café, an existing restaurant from Tallassee, AL (opened 2012), is expanding to the 17 Springs Marketplace in Millbrook. The restaurant offers sandwiches, salads, soups, homestyle meals, seafood, and house-made desserts. Owned by Noah and Pam Griggs, Stephen Duggar, and Todd Cornwall. Construction and opening dates have not yet been announced.
Woodstone Crafted Kitchen
Owners of Goodwood Barbeque Company (Bobbie and Steve Cooper) are developing a multi-concept property called Woodstone at the Flats on the former Flats 16 event center site on Highway 16 in Eagle, ID. Locally-owned coffee shop planned for a historic Victorian home in downtown Middleton. Will serve specialty coffee, matcha, teas, charcuterie, and feature a DIY hot chocolate bar. Owner is currently securing the location and pursuing a beer and wine license. Goal is to open by February (year inferred as 2027 given today’s date of June 2026).
Chipotle
New Chipotle location under construction near Kroger Marketplace at 255 North Heincke Road in Miamisburg, OH. Will feature a mobile order pickup window. No opening date announced yet.

Venetian-born fast-casual fresh pasta chain opening inside a Walmart Supercenter. Franchise operator David Caruso is targeting an end-of-summer 2026 timeline, pending permits. Menu features fresh pasta, housemade sauces, Italian sandwiches, salads, and tiramisu. This is the brand’s first Texas location, with a simultaneous San Antonio opening also planned.
