Chandeleur Depot Brewpub

Brewpub opening in restored 1904 Pascagoula train station. Features elevated bar menu by Michelin-recommended Chef Austin Sumrall, 12 beers on tap from Chandeleur Island Brewing Company, full bar, arcade, and brewing room. Soft opening expected within weeks pending liquor license approval. Co-owned by Joe Cloyd and Cam and Cain Roberds.

Espadas de Brazil

Brazilian steakhouse opening in the former Stem & Stone space. Owner Robinson Figueiredo is drawing on experience from his Austin food truck. The food truck will continue operating at The Boring Bodega, 865 FM 1209, Bastrop. Catering services will also remain available.

Sushi Sakana

Sushi Sakana is opening a new location in Frisco, TX in September 2026. The restaurant offers Japanese cuisine including sushi, sashimi, nigiri, miso soup, crab rangoons, and a signature ahi tower. Co-owner James Park confirmed the projected opening.

Chick-fil-A Dallas North Tollway & W Frontier Pkwy

New Chick-fil-A location opening May 26, 2026 at 6:30 a.m. in Prosper, TX. Operated by Chris Wright, his second location in the community. Opening day ‘Moove-In Party’ with free entree for customers in cow-spotted attire. Expected to create ~100 jobs. Will offer dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, third-party delivery, mobile pick-up and Mobile Thru.

On The Rocks Italian Bistro

Fine-dining Italian bistro opening in Old Town Burleson in the former Razoo’s Cajun Cafe space. Sister concept to La Bistro in Hurst, TX. Menu will feature steak, pastas, seafood, fine wine, bourbon and cocktails. Owner Jason Benouared stated the family plans to open ‘later this year’ but no exact date has been released.

Jimmy John’s

New Jimmy John’s franchise location opening in Decatur, TX next to Little Caesars. Hiring began in April 2026, with two positions currently listed. Training takes place at the Northlake location. Team hopes to open by June 15, 2026.

Luna Grill Mediterranean Kitchen

Fast-casual Mediterranean chain opening its 60th location in Old East Dallas near Gaston and Haskell Avenues. Ribbon cutting scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on June 25, 2026. First 60 customers receive a free bowl. This will be the ninth DFW-area location. Menu includes bowls, plates, salads, pitas, and family meals.

HomeGrown

HomeGrown, a breakfast/brunch/lunch chain, plans to open its fourth Northwest Arkansas location at 417 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd within the South Yard development in Fayetteville.
