Carmine’s Trattoria
Second location of Carmine’s Trattoria and Gourmet Market, anchoring Glades Station shopping plaza. Will feature Italian market with fresh cheeses, vegetables, to-go pizzas, sandwiches, and imported goods, plus white-tablecloth restaurant with Italian classics and extensive wine list. Owner also operates locations in Pembroke Pines and Palm Beach Gardens.
DaRae & Friends at The Commons
New breakfast and lunch restaurant from local caterer DaRae Marcum, opening in a renovated former auto repair shop (Stuttgart Motors) at the entrance to The Commons mixed-use development. Will serve Southern-style food, grab-and-go items 7am-7pm, closed Sundays. Seating for 20 inside plus patio. Property purchased July 2025 by developer Daren Turner, currently under renovation.
Roots Natural Kitchen
Charlottesville-born salad and grain bowl chain opening its fourth area location in Richmond. Known for salads and grain bowls, with locations in college towns along the East Coast.
Shake Shack
Shake Shack opening its first Georgetown, TX location at 1320 W. University Avenue. The $980,000 project is a 3,000 sq ft fast-casual restaurant with a drive-thru. Construction began early March 2026 and is expected to wrap by end of June 2026, with opening slated for 2026. Located near Academy Sports + Outdoors and H-E-B.
Choolaah Indian BBQ
Choolaah Indian BBQ is a fast casual Indian barbecue restaurant with vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free menu options. Menu includes bowls, wraps, street food, and craft beverages. Currently has locations in Ohio and Pennsylvania. Opening this winter at The Summit shopping center in Birmingham, AL.
Mentone
Chef David Kinch’s Mentone restaurant (second location, original in Aptos) and Manresa Bread bakery have signed leases at The Junction, a retail/restaurant/gathering space at the North 40 development in Los Gatos.
