Second location of Lucca’s Italian Shop Sandwiches opening in East Village near Petco Park, featuring freshly baked focaccia on-site with quality wine and beer. Will operate Monday to Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Lao-Thai restaurant owned by Stella Bayphouthongkham, blending ancestral recipes with Southern California ingredients. Will feature traditional dishes like pad-thai and khao soi, plus beverage program with local beers and natural wines. Hours will be Wednesday-Monday, 11am-3pm lunch, 5pm-9pm dinner, closed Tuesdays.
Pink Rose Cafe
Amore Caffe is rebranding as Pink Rose Cafe, which will be the second location for Pink Rose Cafe in San Diego. The rebranded cafe will feature a totally different concept with vibrant pink interiors and floral decorations.

Non-alcoholic brewery and production facility opening in former Creative Creature Brewing space. Will produce alcohol-free beers, wines, and spirits with eventual taproom featuring non-alcoholic draft offerings including Haymaker N/A IPA.

7Brew Coffee is constructing a new 600-square-foot drive-thru coffee shop in The Colonnade. Construction starts in August and wraps up by November 2026. $1 million project with permit recently filed.
Layne’s Chicken Fingers
Layne’s Chicken Fingers expanding in San Antonio with two new locations. One at 742 SW Military Dr expected to open this year, another at 1604 Marbach slated for 2027. Franchisee Eli Cohen is opening multiple locations in the Greater San Antonio area.

Florida-based Mexican fast-casual chain expanding to Alexandria’s Oakville Triangle. Will occupy 2,500 square foot storefront on Oakville Row. Recently signed lease but opening timeline not yet established.
