Wendy’s
Franchise group Wendelta (subsidiary of Carlisle Corp.) purchased two closed Wendy’s locations from Meritage Hospitality Group. Locations at 4605 Poplar Ave in East Memphis and 7569 Poplar Ave in Germantown will be either renovated or demolished and rebuilt as ‘showcase’ Wendy’s restaurants. Both locations are currently closed and expected to reopen by summer 2027.

Famed Memphis restaurateur John-Paul Gagliano will lead a full-service restaurant inside the new Memphis Art Museum’s downtown building. The restaurant will feature a full-service catering kitchen, dining room, 20-seat bar, and indoor/outdoor seating. Scheduled to open January 2027, coinciding with the museum’s December 2026 opening.
