All-you-can-eat wagyu shabu restaurant by Chubby Group hospitality team. Interior renovations of 6,219 sq ft space. Four dining tiers ranging from $45-$98. Construction begins April 1, 2026.

Bakery and cafe serving cakes, tarts, donuts, sweet and savory items, salads, sandwiches, wraps, and beverages. Located near Richardson border.

The Rustic

The Rustic restaurant and live music venue expanding to The Colony’s Grandscape entertainment complex, occupying former Lava Cantina space. Features wood-grilled American food, premium beverages, and live Americana music five days a week.

Tikka Shack

Fast casual Indian restaurant with dine-in and to-go options. Menu will include curry bowls, tikka pizzas, naan wraps, and traditional kabobs. Replacing the old Cycle Bar location.

Trapeze

French bohemian bar and restaurant from Deep Ellum operators Peter Novotny and Dan Murry, featuring regional French cuisine and colonial-inspired flavors. Located in renovated Bishop Arts District bungalow with Jeremy Spector as culinary director.

Ponto Gaucho Brazilian Steakhouse

Brazilian steakhouse moving into former House Divided building on Hillside in Amarillo. Features all-you-can-eat concept with meats carved at table and high-end salad bar. Currently has location in Lubbock.

Americana by Loews Hotels

507-room Americana by Loews Hotels hotel to be built in Arlington, Texas entertainment district, replacing existing Sheraton hotel. Will include 83,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space.

Waffle House

New Waffle House location in Collin County spanning 1,760 square feet. Construction begins November 1, 2026 and project set to wrap by April 1, 2027.

Huckleberry’s Breakfast and Lunch

Southern-inspired brunch restaurant opening third Texas location. Cajun-inspired menu with items like Mardi Gras Beignets, Chicken & Waffles, and Cajun Benedict. Grand opening includes free mug giveaway for first 50 guests and ribbon cutting ceremony on February 11.
